puceAesthera PPx - Welcome

Welcome to Aesthera PPx, a website that provides information on the Aesthera PPx photopneumatic therapy for your skin. Aesthera PPx is an amazing new treatment, and can be used to treat many skin problems, including thread veins, unwanted skin pigment such as brown "age" spots, acne and damage from the sun. It can even be used to remove unwanted hair!

puceWhat is Aesthera PPx?

Aesthera PPX is a new therapy that utilises photopneumatic energy and broadband light to target skin problems and produce an even skin pigmentation and complexion. It is up to five times more efficient at targetting the delivering of energy to the skin, whether the target be hair follicles, skin pigment or thread veins, whilst protecting the skin's surrounding structures, than other broadband light or laser treatments.

It is also up to seven times faster than other light based treatments.

puceHow does it work?

aesthera ppxSmall pieces of skin in the area being targetted are "sucked up", which brings the hair follicles and patches of pigmentation closer to the skin's surface. Thus, it is easier for the light energy to pass through the skin to target the required areas, so less energy is needed and greater efficiency is obtained.

The treatment is pain free and very quick - for example it takes less than 10 minutes to treat a face. The treatment itself feels warm and is frequently likened to a "warm massage". It is not unpleasant - in fact, 100% of treated patients described the treatment as "relaxing".

puceHow much does it cost?

Prices are subject to change, but at the time of writing the cost is £350 for one session, or a course of five sessions, which is the recommended number, is £1,450. Contact the Harley Medical Group to book a free consultation.
