Skin Pigmentation
PPx therapy is a quick, clinically approved treatment for the rejunvenation of skin and treatment of skin pigmentation problems including:
- Brown age spots
- Freckles
- Sun damage
- Thread veins (Rosacea)
The PPx treatment is non-invasive and pain free. No pre-treatment anasthetics or gels are required. The treatment is very speedy, clinically efficient and safe, and the skins pores are cleansed during treatment.
The Technology Used
The treatment is applied via a handpiece that uses a combination of broadband light and a vacuum to suck up each area of skin to be treated. The pulling up action thins the epidermis and brings the cause of the pigmentation closer to the surface of the skin. When the light energy is applied, it is converted to heat by selective photo thermolysis and destroys the target pigmentation.
What is Selective Photothermolysis and how does it work?
Different vessels in the skin absorb different wavelengths of light. Whereas laser light is radiation of a fixed wavelength, PPX offers pulsed light of different wavelengths to target different depths of skin.

How many treatments will I need?
